Low valuation for my written off car?

My 2005 C4 VTS 80000mls has been written off. It was in excellent condition in & out with FSH. My insurance company (Hastings Direct) has offered me £2300. I payed £3100 only 8 months ago.

I have looked at your valuations & at Autotrader & ebay. This all suggests a value in excess of £3000, but Hastingd Direct say Glass' guide is £2300 & that is all they are prepared to pay. Where do I stand?

You never get 'advertised' or retail price for a write off. Glass's September prices for an 05 C4 2.0 VTS with 80k miles are £1,730 trade; £3,000 retail.
