How much is my Astra worth as a trade-in

My son is looking to part-ex his black 2007/57 Astra Sportshatch 1.7 CDTI SXI, 27k miles, good condition, brand new MoT, brand new front tyres for a Ford Fiesta 1.6S 1600 3-door petrol, Racing Blue,10k miles, Evans Halshaw dealer selling for £9,864 including 17 inch alloys, full leather, sports body kit, rear spoiler, air con, sports seats, tinted glass (some of which may be standard). What would be a good price to change plus if selling his privately what should he ask?

He's going to have to disclose all the modifications to that Fiesta to his insurer, which could hike the premium considerably. Better check that before buying it. The Astra trades at £5,700 + £250 for the slightly lower mileage, so £5,950. He can ask a bit more than that as a private sale. You forgot to give the year and plate of the Fiesta, so I can’t value it.
