Best way to sell a 54 plate Mondeo

A friend is part exchanging a 54 plate Mondeo Zetec 2.0 (petrol) for a new Focus 1.0. He has been offered £700 in the p/e deal. It has FSH, 104k miles, everything works and it is in good condition. Should he try Sure Sell instead?

No, that's about right. Probably would get no more using sure-sell and then would have to pay sellers commission out of what he did get. But obviously he should not take £700 and also not get a substantial discount on the Focus. Try www.drivethedeal.co.uk for a price on the Focus with no p/x. If that massively beats the dealer deal offered, then keep the Mondeo and take what he can get via sure-sell.
