Where can I get an adapted car which allows me to drive with a disabled right knee?

I am unable to drive at the moment as I have permanently hurt my anterior cruciate ligament and have no strength in my right knee. I obviously need a car that can be adapted. At the moment I have a Peugeot 307 but am happy to purchase an alternative vehicle. My main priority is to get back on the road again. I am not registered disabled so cannot take advantage of any schemes. Please could you give me some advice?

The people to consult about adapting your car are: www.jeffgosling.co.uk. The best place to search for used pre-adapted cars for disabled drivers and passengers is www.justmobility.co.uk
