Can I have my Mercedes-Benz fitted with hand controls?

I have a 2007 Mercedes-Benz E220 CDi Estate, which I love, bought for its boot space to carry a disabled scooter, and also because our immediate families live at opposite ends of the country, so long journeys are necessary (for which it is ideal). As a result of a spinal condition, which my neurologist recently confirmed cannot be reversed, I am slowly losing the control of my legs and feet. Is it possible to have the car fitted with hand controls? If so, which company do you advise for the modification?
