What small plug in hybrid would you recommend?

My daughter and her partner are looking to replace their current Mazda CX-30 with two cars. The second car they want must be a small (but big enough for a 3 year olds car seat in the back) four door plug in hybrid. What do you recommend?

You can read our guide to the best small hybrids here - www.honestjohn.co.uk/guides/hybrid-cars/best-small.../ - options such as the Honda Jazz and Toyota Yaris Cross are compact but offer good interior space for their size, so should be more than big enough to accommodate a child's car seat.
