Should I extend my warranty or buy a new car?

I have a 2021 Mk.8 VW Golf eTSI with 40000 mls My VW 'All-in' warranty is about to expire. Considering depreciation and the cost of a new car, what would you recommend, get another 'All in' warranty or a new Golf. Eventually I would probably buy a new Mk.9 combustion hybrid when released I hear in 2028.

As you are planning to stay in a Golf whether you keep your existing car or trade it in for a new example, from a depreciation perspective your current car has already passed through the steepest decline in value which happens over the first three years. Swapping it for a new one now would mean going through this period again, so if you are planning to buy the next generation Golf regardless it would make the most financial sense to continue with your existing example.
