My Kia's climate control will only blow cold but the dealer can't fix it, what can I do?
My 25 plate Kia Niro’s heat pump keeps blowing cold air out every time I alter the temperature. Is this a common problem. I have taken my car back three times now and all they do is reset the heat pump on the infotainment system but this is lasts until I change the temperature again. Any suggestions on what causes this issue?

Assuming you have had no success in solving this issue by trying out different settings for the climate control system, including trying manual and automatic settings, you may need to escalate the issue with the dealer by demonstrating that the temperature returns to cold when the setting is changed even after the reset or leaving the car with them for a few days. If this is unsuccessful we would suggest raising the issue with Kia UK with the aim of having the vehicle fully inspected and diagnosed.

I had followed your advice to always keep the air con switched on, and to good effect in that with my vehicle owned from new for 20 years it has always worked fine without ever even needing re-gassing....
