Should I keep the air con on all the time in an EV?

I had followed your advice to always keep the air con switched on, and to good effect in that with my vehicle owned from new for 20 years it has always worked fine without ever even needing re-gassing. It has now been replaced with an EV. Does the same advice apply to EVs?

The same advice does apply, in that it is sensible to keep the air conditioning switched on in order to ensure it functions correctly, although it is worth bearing in mind that you may experience greater power consumption as a result.
