It's difficult to give a conclusive answer on this, but the 5.0-litre supercharged petrol V8 is likely to be the most reliable of the lot, although the fuel consumption will be painful. As far as the diesels go, the V6 has a fair few known failure points, with the TDV8 looking like the better bet for longevity, but there might not be much in it.

Land Rover as a company doesn't exactly have the best reliability record, of course. If you are interested in an alternative that should prove more reliable, a Porsche Cayenne could be worth considering.
