What cheap small car with a big boot do you recommend?
Can you recommend a small car with biggish boot that will cost me around £2500 - it will be used mainly for local journeys and transporting paintings up to 100cmx100cm. My annual mileage is low. Ideally something reliable. I would hope to run it for 8+ years as I have my 2006 Mazda2 which is now 19 years old.

A second-generation Honda Jazz is in budget and has a boot floor which is wide enough to take the largest paintings, although the boot opening is slightly narrower, so loading would need to be done at an angle. If the larger paintings are to lie flat, you'd need to fold the rear seat bench to accommodate, as will be the case for your current Mazda.

Neatly styled. Increased room and better performance than original Jazz. better to drive. Very versatile. CVT-7 returned in February 2011 replacing i-SHIFT. More reliable than first generation Jazz.
