Are cambelts covered under warranty?
If the cam belt breaks while I am driving away from the garage am I covered by the warranty?

The terms and conditions of a vehicle warranty should detail what is included and excluded under that warranty, so it is not a case of all warranties will or will not cover a failed timing belt and we would advise checking the small print. Timing belts are generally considered as consumable components in that they wear out and will need replacement at some point, so it is not uncommon for them to be excluded from warranty cover.
