Window screen lamination ingress of water
I have a 2009 mk6 Golf with 14000 miles . I have what appears to be slight water ingress into the plastic laminated layer. The frosted appearance is in the top right corner of the screen and the triangle shape is about a one inch sided triangle and in the nearside top corner about a third of the size of the other corner. Autoglass advise that probably water has or is ingressing in the top corners of the screen and although not dangerous it cosmetically looks bad, and could possibly get worse. I assume this would not be covered under my windowscreen cover?
Do you think it could be poor installation of the screen and it may be covered under vw warranty.
