Door lock noise good or bad?
When remote locking the doors on our 2007 Nissan Note 1.4 SE there is a loud buzzing/rasping noise which seems to come from the drivers door. Is this an intentional audible confirmation of locking or is it a potential problem? I can find nothing stated in the owners manual that this noise should occur. Have owned the car for 3 months and it has not changed at all in this time. I would like to confirm either way as car is still under warranty (but not from a Nissan dealer so they dont know all details of the model).

It's nice to hear the locks locking, but if it sounds like it is straining then it can't be right and probably needs lube.
