DPF damaged by bodyshop

I have a car on lease from Masterlease. Someone drove into it and hence it had to be picked up from my house by the bodyshop. When it was returned to me some 3 weeks later repaired, I noted that the DPF light was on - it was not on when I sent it into the Bodyshop. It also appeared to be sluggish the first time I drove it.

I had seen this light before and read the manual and therefore knew I had to drive it at speed to clear the DPF. Having done this, the car still appeared sluggish and the DPF light was still on. At this point I called the leasing company and they sent it into Audi.

Audi then confirmed that the vehicles DPF had become clogged and that it had to be replaced. Audi manufacturing warranty does not include the DPF and hence, as a gesture of goodwill, Audi agreed to contribute 70% towards the cost. The remaining 30% (£600) Masterlease want to charge me for.

Please can you provide me with some advice on how I should/if I can push back on this as at the moment, they are blaming the issue on myself as driver misuse.

The insurer is liable because it is obvious that the car was started from cold and shuffled round the repairers yard then switched off again numerous times while still cold and this is what choked the DPF.
