Will I get a longer term for my licence renewal?

I am waiting for another medical after being granted just a year after passing my last medical for alcohol abuse, will I get a longer licence the second time? I should have had my medical by now but still have not received a date.

The DVLA will give you a licence period based on the results of your medical, so it could be for one, two, three or five years if it is not indefinite period of time. If you are unhappy with the decision provided you can make a complaint to the DVLA here:www.gov.uk/government/organisations/driver-and-veh...e
