When will the Toyota Corolla Cross go on sale in the UK?

My wife has owned a number of Toyotas over the years and enjoys their rock solid reliability and excellent economy. She has owned a Corolla for the past couple of years and been delighted with its comfort etc. However, as we are now grandparents we would like something with a bigger boot. I heard at the end of last year, Toyota will launch the Corolla Cross SUV this year but have since heard no more and Toyota are unable to give me an update. Do you have any information on this or indeed a suggestion of something similar from another brand?

We don't know for sure if, or when, the Toyota Corolla Cross will go on sale in the UK. The Toyota RAV4 could be a good alternative. You could also look at family SUVs from other manufacturers, such as the Skoda Karoq or Hyundai Tucson. This might help: www.honestjohn.co.uk/guides/best-family-suv/
