Should a dealer fix a faulty car they sold me?

I bought a 2-year-old Toyota RAV4 hybrid with 3500 miles on the clock 14 days ago. I've only driven it 50 miles but I've noticed the backlight has a crack in it with mould growing inside. Should I ask the garage to replace this free of charge?

The dealer may be within its rights to argue that you should have spotted this when you inspected the car prior to purchase. But I would contact them anyway and ask them to fix it free of charge. It would be very poor customer service if they refused.
