Con fine ment

Two weeks ago my husband was issued with a parking ticket in a carpark in Ipswich, Suffolk while visiting our son on father's day. This was on a Sunday when the car park is free, but it was given because he had not parked correctly between the lines. While my husband admitted that he had parked carelessly, the car park was virtually empty (we have photos to prove this) and we feel a quite tactful word would have been more appropriate. He has appealed to Ipswich council, but been turned down. I presume that all by laws still apply even if the car park is free but it is no wonder that parking attendants suffer such abuse when they behave so. Furthermore we often see them sitting in this car park on a Sunday when it is free and feel it is a waste of taxpayer’s money. The council say they have to monitor the carpark .

That is the way this country now operates. It is not a nice country. National government, local government and many businesses all depend on income from penalties to fund their services and their salaries. So everyone and everything is vilified in order that penalties can be imposed whenever possible.
