Which is better, the Peugeot 2008 or Skoda Kamiq?

You've long rated the Peugeot 2008. Does the Skoda Kamiq (or some other new crossover?) change your view? For us, comfort comes higher than fast cornering. Is the 1-litre engine really better than the 1.5-litre if money isn't too much of an issue? Many thanks.

The latest Peugeot 2008 and Skoda Kamiq are both excellent crossovers. The Kamiq is a slightly more comfortable and practical choice, while also offering very good value for money. The 1.0-litre in the Kamiq is a really punchy little engine and doesn't suffer from the same hesitation issues as the 1.5, although the 1.5 might be better if you regularly drive on the motorway (especially with a car full of passengers).
