My Skoda Karoq shudders in first gear. Is Skoda sorting this issue out?

My Skoda Karoq 1.5-litre shudders in first gear. Is Skoda issuing a fix?

Skoda told us: "As far as we are aware the software update has been a success and no further measures are planned. We are unaware of any current cases relating to the 1.5 litre engine. If a customer has an issue with their car, we recommend they contact ŠKODA customer services directly."

If I were you, I would get in touch with Skoda services and the dealer to try to resolve the issue because that's the easiest route. If you do that and they say the issue has been fixed (or doesn't exist) and it hasn't been sorted, I would try to reject the car as a last resort for not being fit for purpose. This needs to be done with the dealer you purchased from within the first six months of owning it. You can find your consumer rights here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/how-to-reject-a-car-your-cons...s
