Reinforced tyres
I took your advice about getting winter tyres for our C-MAX which is now wonderful in snow and want to get winter tyres for our Hyundai i10. The only ones available (from Germany) are "XL" which I think means they are reinforced. I understand that those tyres are normally for heavier cars/loads which the i10 is not likely to get close to. Is there any reason of safety or tyre wear rate that means we should wait for alternative stock to become available or are reinforced tyres just something which costs a bit more but doesn't have any other downside?
