Vauxhall Astra 1.6 1999

My astra lately has been struggling to start in the morning, it started 5 days ago when i tried to start the engine, instead of the engine turning it clicked and all my lights dimmed on the dash, this happened 7 or 8 times until it finally turned over and started, drove normally all day, i have tried the follwing day and the same again, during the day i have stopped and resarted it several times with no problems, it seems that when it has had several hours it struggles but the battery is fine, could it be solenoid or starter motor issues, also the engine fault light came on once for about a minute the other day then went off and has not been on since, i have also had a leak in the rad i have found out today and so have fixed this, could this in any way possible have contributed?

Reads like a battery at the end of its days.
