First car?

Of the cheap small cars around which is the most reliable? This will be for a 24 y/o with no no claims but some three years experience. We've been looking at the Fiat Panda and Vauxhall Corsa but reliability is important. Budget between £1K and £2K.

Actually a Panda is coming our more reliable than a C1, 107 or Aygo. Can have a PAS problem but that's just about it.
