  I\'ve got a Laguna II for which I have obtained a spare key card. I just need to \'learn\' the keycard to my car\'s security system, which presumably you can do through coding it somehow. All the renault dealers seem to be wanting to charge me for an hours labour at 30-50 quid, which given my company mitsubishi carisma can have it\'s key fob taught by me in seconds seems a bit expensive, given the card\'s already cost me £90 Is this something i can do myself as per other manafacture\'s key-fobs?

   That's 38.7 mpg, little better than our old Focus which was 37.6 when I last measured it over a similar distance (but with more motorway journeys). The oil level hasn't moved noticeably from the max mark. Moans? The pathetic single note 'peep' from the horn. The Focus had a rich twin-tone. Messy styling where the dash abuts the quarterlight, which I see is much improved in the new model.

  Coupled with the fact that one is supposed to service the car every 9000 miles at a cost of £380 (except for the 54k service which is £740), I told the service guy how I hated owning this car and that I wished that the wife had wanted to buy an S-Max. I told him that all prices were hard to except and that Mitsubishi has lost my custom for good (except where I need to get this car serviced). As and when the wife wants to sell the car I will do so like a shot.

  Help please... My n/s/f door lock has ceased to operate, it has been checked out and the fault lies within the mechanices of the lock and not the electrics.... we cannot open the door, so how do we remove the lock....??????

  My brothers 2.7 diesel S type auto. will not start after leaving the battery flat for a long time, everything seems to work but when the key is turned nothing happens (as if you are in Drive and not P or N) any ideas anyone please?

  For what reason I do not know Jack Lilleys in Shepperton have a showroom full of 04 pre-reg Triumph Speed 4's for £4,250. A great price in itself but given they had at least five sitting there possibly even cheaper for those holding folding. Too small for me (6'2") but a lovely bike for those in to 'street fighter' looks.

  Plus I get confused when watching Top Gear / 5th Gear because I never know if they are talking to the wheels or to the flywheels. For example, this past weeks Top Gear they road test the new GTO and he says it?s 302 BHP. Well here in the USA it?s advertised as 350hp, but that # is to the flywheel, not the wheels. Are all the HP #s on those shows to the wheels?

  Had complaints about severs judder on start off and thumping changes between 1st and 2nd on current shape S Class models built late 1998 through 1999. Can anyone shed any more light on this, particularly Andrew Bairsto in Dresden. Apparently the box was modified for 2000 model year and the problem then disappeared.

  Hello, I have coolant leak in my Nissan xtrail t32. In around 500km coolant is going from Max to Min which is around 250ml. System was pressure tested and there was no visible leaks however there is some staining around water pump so I presume it's the source of the leak. I have checked Nissan manual and they saying that to replace water pump engine need to be removed.

  Hi all, will be getting another car as soon as we are able to go out and buy one. I currently have an 18 plate crossland x. We will be getting a small caravan (900kg max) and the crossland will never tow it, hence getting rid.  Have looked at the Dacia Duster but not sure as they seem cheap so I'm  guessing there's  a reason why they're cheap. Just wondered if anyone had one and what they're like or whether to avoid.
