There is a peculiar cylindrical sealed unit in the off side wheel arch which is fitted in line into one of the many breather pipes, this has been removed, again with no avail. Anyone\'s comments much appreciated - I need petrol ! -
Cassette stuck in player - Ford Focus 3 Mar 2004 (Forum)
Mrs smokie uses listening books on cassette to help her journey to work pass quicker. Tonight she had a tape which was going slower then faster, and now it won\'t eject. It\'s from the same set which unravelled itself inside the player a few nights ago (different tape though). I tried ejecting, the tape moves upwards but not outwards. Although I can grip it with pliers, it seems to be locked in position. -

My Ford Ka is just coming up to its 9th birthday, and has just got through the MOT (with a couple of hundred pounds of work - see 008 and 009 below). What do people make of these advisory items? Which ones should I be concerned about - and how concerned should I be? -

2022 Range Rover 30 Oct 2021 (Forum)
A terrain response system that knows what terrain you are on. 125 patents filed. Lastly, the Ford/PSA v6 diesel with a crankshaft made of cheese is now dead, long live the homegrown inline 6! To be expected of a car with a starting price of £94,00.00! I'm not sure that any vehicle in this price range, sold in the UK (otherwise i would say the Lexus LX570 beats it) that offers the same combination of S-Class comfort levels with Defender off-road ability - Range Rovers as the flagship are always benchmarked against the Defender. -
Any - when to 'top up' oil 15 Nov 2022 (Forum)
so rather than resurrrecting a long and out of date thread I thought it was worth re-visiting as 'expert' advice varies depending where you look. E.g. the AA advise adding if below halfway between max and min on the dipstick, Halfords if below minimum, and Ford at minimum or below. The general consensus seems to be the level is OK anywhere beteen the two marks - and that is what I have always thought; rarely adding any until it reaches the min mark. -

, Nissan Note looks interesting with seats down and passenger seat reclined (not measured yet) but I'm not sure re drivers seat comfort 3) Must be comfortable for a tall driver(6ft) 4) Reasonably economical but NOT a diesel 5) Probably manual 6) Suitable for long journeys Any stage left suggestions? I did wonder about the Ford B max as well but this seems to be out of her proce range. -

Most Pointless Car? 21 Sep 2011 (Forum)
Its made to look coupe like and sporty but in a 4x4 sort of way and the upshot is it does neither of those things well and costs four limbs to buy. The Ford Fusion? The disabled motability car favourite, its a jacked up Fiesta and yes the height i suppose is ideal for those with mobility issues but does it do anything the C-Max cant do? Thoughts?
