  I am useless with cars and haven't got a clue and scanning through the forums. It it s not incredibly loud and pretty subtle but the more the accelartion goes up the noiser it can get. Any ideas?

  My 2001 1.8 ford focus has just failed MOT due to the handbrake only having 16% reserve. it was tightened in june but i still wouldnt trust it on a hill! So would this mean the cable(s) need replacing? If so which ones or all?

  Just fixed my C Max after low speed shunt . Seat belt tensioners gone off and replaced but airbags were OK Now I Cant put dash light out as diagnostic reads "Crash data stored". Can I just change Airbag control module for another one or is it Vehicie Specific and will I have to get my own module cleared before the light will go out ?

  Observation showed the coolant was bubbling and whilst the coolant was just above min at the start it was way over max within minutes (clearly due to pressure); naturally the fans on the engine radiator were on. Now my issue is I’m at home can’t really take it anywhere and have no breakdown cover. Ford when speaking to them advised of the replacement extended tank but as it stands not sure; they want to pick the car up and effective strip elements of the car... sounding very expensive investigation work.

  I have trawled the web for a few hours but no luck so far and randomly slotting the stripped cable in to vacant slots doesn't seem like a good idea :-o Sure you would all agree?????? PS I can't get the plug(s) out of the rear of the stereo either, it has a kind of 'u' shaped locking arm but even after this is opened the little b*****s still won't come away. I had hoped that pulling them out would make it obvious as to where this wire should be fixed to for connecting to the unit.

  My wife,s 2002 ford focus 1600 cooling fans are running continuously even when the engine is cold. The fans always start up a few seconds after the engine is started. Have tried disconnecting switch on radiator, but this just stops one of the fans.
