  According to the spark plug cover on my 98 Focus 1.6, my engine is a Zetec-S. The Ford on line web site also says it is a Zetec-s. However the handbook and Haynes manual say it should be a Zetec-SE. Does anyone know if there really is a difference between the S and SE? If there is, were some 'S' engines used in early Focus's?

  I see the occasional newish Ford Fiestas for sale mainly by dealers with an alleged "£30 Annual Road tax" in the advert blurb. Ford UK state this car is VED band D meaning 122mgs which means for 2016 £110 After a bit of research I found the following information on the Parkers Site relating to the same vehicle Ford Fiesta 1.25 82bhp 26/11/12 to 2/02/15 VED band C (120mgs) Ford Fiesta 1.25 82bhp 2/02/15 onwards VED Band D (122mgs) Can anyone explain more about this and in particular are there any owners of 2012 to early 2015 Ford Fiestas with the 1.25 engine which are VED band C ?

  I sold my old beloved 01 plate Renault Scenic around 9 months ago. After toying with idea of a berlingo type car I eventually ended up with a Ford C-Max. Unfortunately I've ended up with a dog of a car that's given me nothing but trouble, and that I don't really like the look or feel of. After the 10th repair I'm now planning to cash in my chips on the c-max (with a potential loss of around £2.5k) so I'm back to square one.
