  It's quite loud and audible in the cabin under normal driving (modest acceleration to 2.5k revs and change gear) my local Ford garage says it's normal but it clearly isn't and it only started recently. I've owned the car from new, 22k miles and I'm a month away from end of 3 year warranty. The service guy said he spoke to Ford and they said they are not concerned that the noise indicates a problem - I bet they arent!

  My 2011 1.6TDCi Grand C-Max has developed an intermittent loss of power over the last couple of weeks, normally after starting from cold. When it happens the car crawls along, and putting your foot down gives no response.

  I was having a quick look through a couple of the online tyre sales sites and note that they are now using the new EC ratings for noise, wet grip and rolling resistance. How reliable are these? The tyres on my S-Max are rated as C for resistance, B for grip and 76dB. The other tyres available in my size all appear to be much quieter. How much difference will I notice inside the car?

  Hi, My Daughter managed to have a fender bender with her car. The n/s front wing is damaged at the front but can be fairly easily fixed. The headlight lens has a chunk missing from it by the indicator. so the question is...can the lens on its own be replaced. I have seen a number of headlights for sale on fleabay and it looks like the lens clips off. anyone have any clues as to if this is possible?

  Hi guys, Just got an 07 Ford Fiesta Style Climate, after a day of having it, when unlocking with the remote, there's an odd whistling/high pitched sound coming from what sounds like the engine bay, when unlocking with the key, there's no noise, the noise only lasts about 45 seconds max and only seems to do it in the morning.
