  • Classic car insurance for shows, track days, wedding and hire (Article)
There’s plenty of demand for non-traditional weddings cars. We’ve heard of people heading to the church in a Harry Potter-inspired Ford Anglia 105E, or the Reliant Supervan from Only Fools & Horses. Volkswagen Type 2 camper vans, Morris Minors, Fiat Multiplas… even Ferraris and Lamborghinis. Basically, anything goes. Does my classic need to be licenced for weddings?
  • Cheap car insurance for modern classics (Article)
But then you’d expect desirable sportsters like this to be included, along with their TVR and Lotus brethren. Pleasing, there are plenty of normal cars available for classic cover. Your Mk1 Ford Mondeo doesn’t have an ST24 badge to qualify, and Audis like the 80 and 100 can be covered as well as hugely desirable Quattro. Even what non-petrolheads would probably refer to as ‘bangers’ like the Citroen Xantia or Alfa 145 are eligible for classic cover.
  • Review: Viofo A129 Duo (productReview)
If you run the front camera of the T4 without the rear camera connected, this is upped to 1440p at 30fps. If you click on the hyperlink, you can see the T4's footage in the review.  The T4 features a 155-degree angle view from both cameras, which trumps the 140-degree wide viewing angle than the A129, and the T4 comes with a 32GB micro SD card included.
  • Top 10: Gifts for gamers (Article)
Sony PlayStation 4 Pro (and VR headset) Sony's PS4 Pro  adds 4K resolution and High Dynamic Range (HDR) graphics to the 2013 PS4’s spec sheet, as well as an upgraded processor, better compatibility with Sony’s Virtual Reality headset (PSVR), and a design update.  To take advantage of most of the upgrades you’ll need a compatible 4K television and, if you’re keen on being part of the vanguard of gaming, a PSVR headset.
  • Review: Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H400 (productReview)
The front is dominated by the whopping Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar lens, while the H400’s built-in flash, which pops up when you press a small button on the left side, is mounted in front of the electronic viewfinder (EVF). The view is reasonable, but you can tell that it is a budget camera due to the small size of the viewfinder.

As a result, if you’re looking for an affordable and serviceable dual-camera unit, the OnDash N2 should be on your list. The N2’s key feature is a wide-angle forward-facing camera that works in conjunction with an adjustable rear-facing camera. These allow it to capture a 310-degree view around the car, meaning all the evidence you need should be recorded in the case of an incident.
  • Review: Pod Point Solo 3S EV Charger (productReview)
We've used it with a variety of cars as well, from plug-in hybrids like the Skoda Superb Estate, to EVs like the Audi Q6 e-tron and Ford Explorer. All have happily connected and charged as expected without issues. We couldn't fault the installation process, while the unit itself appears well made (and it's great to have that five-year warranty to back that up), while the app is great - it's responsive and stable.
  • Review: Nuna Arra (productReview)
Fitting the base to your Isofix mounts is a doddle and it has a steel support leg designed to absorb the force of an impact. It does take up room though, so if you have a smaller car like a Ford Fiesta, you'll have to have the seat in front quite far forward. As we always suggest, it's worth trying it out in your car before buying if you can.
Top Father's Day gifts for 2023 (Article)
This one, priced at £23, looks at the history of the Jaguar XJR-9 Le Mans racing car while others in the same series include the Ferrari 250 GT0 and the Ford GT40. Porsche bottle opener Yes, it's a Porsche bottle opener that looks like the central locking mechanism from the wheel of a Porsche 911 Turbo. It's a heavy duty bit of kit, which justifies the £50 price tag somewhat, while according to Porsche, it means the 'same design that ensures a wheel nut can be opened quickly during a pit stop will also help you open your bottles in record time'.
  • Review: Thule 991 RaceWay 2 bicycle carrier (productReview)
We say officially as although there are cars not listed in the accompanying booklet - things like the latest Ford Focus, BMW 5 Series Touring and Honda Civic to name just three - that's not to say the RaceWay won't fit so it's worth testing it out even if your car isn't on the list.   Details Price: £280.00 Weight: 9.8kg Load capacity: 30kg

  • Top 10: Scooters 2020 (Article)
It’s distilled it into a splendid scooter that has the looks to appeal to young riders starting out and those wanting something to commute on with a bit of attitude. Handling is at the core of the SR 50’s appeal and it carries it weight low in the rigid frame. Disc brakes front and rear are unusual in this class and give excellent retardation. The 13-inch tyres give lots of traction and enhance the flickable nature of this machine in corners.

  • Top 10: Father's Day gifts for petrolheads 2016 (Article)
Cars available include a Porsche 911, Lamborghini Huracan and Bentley Flying Spur. Obviously renting something so valuable is more expensive than renting a Ford Focus, but in terms of value-for-money it’s probably a better bet than a very short track experience. Enterprise has an age restriction of 30 on its exotic vehicles and pricing depends on availability, as well as various other factors.
  • Review: Joie Stages Isofix (productReview)
There are seven recline positions, handy if your little one falls asleep and you want to angle the seat down without waking them up. We've tested the Stages in several different cars including a Ford Edge and a Nissan Qashqai. Day to day it’s great to use. In Junior Mode, there's no need for the five-point harness, but cleverly there's a little compartment in the base of the seat to hide it away.
  • Cheap van insurance for builders, plumbers and electricians explained (Article)
Ford Transit - Insurance group 5E Cheap to buy, affordable to insure and offered in a wide range of load lengths and heights, the old shape Transit has plenty to offer builders who are operating on a tight budget.  The Transit’s mammoth new sales mean you can pick up a used example anywhere, and it’s far from difficult to find one that’ll meet your requirements.     Peugeot Boxer - Insurance group 5E A canny choice then for tradespeople looking for a smart, capable and huge van, t he Boxer is far from unreasonable to insure with it starting in group 5E.  Models available in that group are the 330 L1H1 and L1H2 100 and 110, in standard, Professional or Special Edition Professional trim levels.  See also: Top 10 Cheapest panel vans to insure Low Insurance by Type Lowest insurance group panel vans Lowest insurance group petrol vans Lowest insurance group crew vans Lowest insurance group diesel vans Lowest insurance group pick-ups
Review: Cambridge Audio Melomania 1 wireless in-ear headphones (productReview)
The oddly-named Melomania 1 are wireless in-ear monitors from Cambridge Audio, a British audio company that's been aiming to ' save the world from s**t sound' for the last 50 years - according to its website at least. They're very impressive with 45 hours of use, IPX5 water-resistance and voice control (to an extent).

Ridden with a gentler right hand, the MT-125 can eke out your fuel budget thanks to 134mpg average economy.  You do pay a heftier price for the MT-125’s looks and attitude than many other naked 125s, but this one has the style to claim bragging rights in its class. Yamaha YZF-R125 - £4499 Plenty of sports bike riders may have abandoned the sector for the all-round pleasures of adventure bikes, but Yamaha knows young riders want that the thrill of a race replica like its YZF-R124.
