  • Review: Aprilia SX125 (productReview)
Even after a prolonged ride at the national speed limit, our hands remained full of sensation, so Aprilia should be applauded for making the SX125’s power unit so free spinning. Making the most of the revs is further enhanced by the six-speed gearbox that clicks up and down easily. There’s enough room around the pedal to wear chunkier winter boots and still find the lever with ease, so this is a bike that could be used all year round.
  • Review: Yamaha MT-09 (productReview)
Pared back, simple streetfighter looks combined with a punchy three-cylinder engine and crisp power delivery have made it a firm favourite with riders who need something more broadly talented than a supersport bike, but still want their thrills. A recently added SP model addresses the one weak link in the MT-09’s armour: suspension. The SP upgrades the springs and dampers at both ends to create a better handling bike and one that doesn’t come with a huge price premium for the privilege.
Review: Thule Raingutter bike rack for older/classic cars (productReview)
Indeed, in relation to the ease of first installation this selection proved significantly easier than the flush roof or roof-bar mountings more modern cars require. Most cars in the '70s and 80's had rain gutters, so the whole business of attaching roof racks became a bit more complicated when these were removed. We went for the Thule Raingutter kit 951 , which can only be fitted with Thule’s 761 SquareBar , denying us the use of the more aerodynamic profile of some of its other bar offerings.
  • Review: Ducati Monster 797 (productReview)
The motor has bags of grunt low in the rev range and makes 80 per cent of peak torque at just 3500rpm, so you have crisp, accurate throttle response when you want to accelerate away from traffic. The steering lock is better than previous Monsters, but it’s still not as tight as a Yamaha MT-07’s. As for other practicalities, the 16.5-litre fuel tank should see more than 180 miles between fills without running on fumes and pillion seat can just about cope with an average adult for short hops.
  • Review: Mio MiVue C330 dash cam (productReview)
width=500&height=333.33333333333337" alt="" data-udi="umb://media/021445027e354310b555e2e1c6fce35a" /> What is it like? The C330’s box is so full of accessories - the charging lead, windscreen mount and manual - that the tiny dash cam itself is almost hidden. One you've read the instructions - if you’re that way inclined - installing the camera is easy.

  • Review: Triumph Bonneville T100 (productReview)
It inspired a lot of confidence from the get-go, so the T100 makes the ideal first big bike or for those A2 licence holders to gain more experience. When riding with a pillion, you might wish for the T120’s extra power, but the additional cost of the more powerful machine will soon bring you back to enjoying the T100 for what it is. Also helping the riding experience to be thoroughly modern are assistance from ABS anti-lock brakes, traction control, ride by wire throttle control for smooth inputs and an immobiliser to help keep the bike where you parked it.

  • Review: Yamaha NMAX 125 (productReview)
There’s also a Comfort Seat that’s more sculpted, but we’ve found the standard item is just peach for rider and pillion, who gets fold-down foot pegs. With build quality that’s every bit as good as the PCX 125’s, the NMAX is a great alternative to the Honda. Is it better? No. Is it different? Yes, there’s a sportier feel to the Yamaha and it’s looks stand out a little more. It’s also marginally more engaging to ride, which is just enough to edge it ahead of the Honda in out affections.

  • SMART REPAIRS: Who repairs minor damage to my car, its trim and wheels? (FAQs)
Everyone damaged is entitled to be put back into the position they were in immediately before the damage, whether that is financially or by replacing the damaged car or by repairing it.  Clark v/s Ardington (Appeal Court 19-4-2002) determined that in such cases, paying the injured party the pre-crash value of their car would put them back into the position they were in immediately before the crash.
