  Super early bird tickets are now on sale for MGLive! 2019. It means that MG Car Club members can save £14 off a day ticket (£30 on the gate) or £18 off a weekend ticket (£45 on the gate). Prices go up after 10am on March 4, 2019. Visitors can take advantage of the Super Early Bird ticket offer by visiting the MG Car Club shop to purchase tickets .

  Preview: Chelsea Grand Rendezvous, 8 September 30 Aug 2013 (News)
  Those with no room for a picnic basket in their two-seater, can count on food and drink stands.    The Grand Chelsea Rendezvous is an all-day event, and gates (London Gate for pedestrians and Bull Ring Gate on the Embankment for cars) open at 8.30am-5.00pm on September 8.   For the London Rally 4 Heroes on April 19th/20th 2013, the MOD has opened the gates of 60 miles of private military roads. There will be spectator stages where families can get close-up views of the cars in action. 100 entries are expected for this unique event that will generate funds for the Help 4 Heroes charity that aids rehabilitation of wounded soldiers.

  Dramatic finish for inaugural Blue Train Challenge 28 Sep 2017 (News)
  Inspired by the legendary run by the Bentley of Wolf Barnato from Cannes to London in March 1930, the Blue Train Challenge set off from Deauville with James Gately and Tony Brooks driving into the lead in their 1937 Cadillac Convertible.    As the event (organised by the Endurance Rally Association) journeyed 1690kms through Fountevraud, Vichy, Lyon, and L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, with crews and cars competing in a series of regularity sections, special tests, and time controls, Gately and Brooks kept the rest of the field at arm’s length until mechanical failure hit at the final regularity just before the finish line.

Traffic management will be in operation, directing event goers to the event entrances to Bicester Heritage's airfield from the Buckingham Road and Skimmingdish Lane. Please follow the yellow road signs and marshals at the entrances, where your tickets will be scanned.  Tickets are available on the gates at £10 per person, but you can save by booking online where advance discounted tickets will be available until midnight on Saturday 5th January.  Once inside the perimeter of Bicester Heritage you will be directed to the relevant parking areas.

  The seller says, ‘I believe it has the 16-valve turbo engine, but with an 8v turbo, T16s injectors fitted as well as the waste gate upgraded.’ Reportedly in good condition for its age, it does have some surface rust on the bonnet. It’s also worth checking the door bottoms and the wheelarches for sign of rot. If you’re serious about buying this car, then make sure there are no signs of head gasket failure (leaks of oil and water around the cylinder head) or a failing gearbox (popping out of first or second).

  The model follows a similar design theme to the Concept-Sportback and is derived from the new Lancer family, the firm states. It features a fast gate lift and colour-keyed roof spoiler, while it also comes with unique headlights and 19-inch five-spoke alloy wheels. Mitsubishi is expecting the five-door hatchback model to account for 80 per cent of its Lancer sales in the UK when it goes on sale later this year.

  Sunday is the day for the Street Concours, which includes cars built before 1982. A total of 100 entries are available on a first come, first served basis for cars through the gate before noon on Sunday. The overall winner of the concours receives a silver salver and is invited to display the vehicle on the club's stand at the NEC classic car show in November. Concours judge Simon Taylor said that the event is an integral part of the event. ‘Fifteen of the concourse cars that we judge and select also have the rare opportunity to take part in a cavalcade up the famous Hill Climb course.’

  Mr Bean's Armchair Mini up for Auction 28 Jan 2010 (News)
    Built expressly for the only live performance by Rowan Atkinson's Mr Bean character - the ensemble of the Mr Bean character aboard his seemingly rope-steering Mini caused mayhem amongst the all-classic Mini parade held during Lord March's unique 'step-back-in-time event'. Driving the wrong way up the track, Mr Bean gate crashed the parade - only to be chased around the circuit by a period Police Mini Cooper 'S' - much to the delight of the capacity crowd. Rowan Atkinson - in Mr Bean persona -  bumped into Business Secretary Lord Mandelson during the Goodwood event and cheekily remarked: "Ah, Prime Minister."
