my partner is having lessons with a driving school and now she thinks it is a good idea to have a car and for me to sit in with her so she can gain extra driving time on the road. i am with esure insurance and they will not entertain this on any account. is their any way round this. has anybody got any ideas -

I am currently driving a 1995 Fiesta with Zetec engine. I have blown the fuse for the cigar lighter and do not have a manual to tell me where the fusebox is and which fuse to replace. Can anyone advise? -- Espada III - well if you have a family and need a Lamborghini, what else do you drive? -

My wife was sent an NIP asking for who was driving etc etc but as I was driving I filled in my details and sent off (doing 81 in a 70 on the big downhill bit of the A303 on the approach to Salisbury r'bout). However this was about 3 weeks ago and I have not been sent anything. -

Howdy all, I've just had to drive through a 2 foot 'puddle' of water. I remembered to brake whilst driving to dry the brakes out but is there anything else I should check? The car drove fine after the puddle by the way. Sounds stupid but you know me! -

Can anyone out there give hard facts on this and also how long it takes alcohol to clear the body for those who drink late at night and drive in the morning.. -

my new model mondeo 2.0 lx 2001 on 75000 miles has an extremelly annoying boot rattle which gets worse when the weather is cold???. dealer as usual is hopeless. It sounds like the actual tailgate is moving and after 8 hours driving it drives me insane.Any suggestions would be much appreciated. -

What is it with these? One on the M23 yesterday, one on the M20 and two on the M25 today. Do they try to drive them like cars in the wet? Do they fall asleep - all these were early morning. Is it the foreign trucks? The way you see them tailgating in the wet I suppose we're lucky there are not more. Do the rozzers EVER do anything about dangerous truck driving? -

Am considering buying Astra 1.8SXi.Road reports to date all seem favourable.However on recent short test drive we found both seats to be quite hard. even uncomfortable.I know it is supposed to be "sporty"But I would welcome comment from anyone on a"long drive" experience.I don't think different seats are an option. -

Been down to the local dealers and there is a trade in Citroen AX, its an M reg, body work is mint condition, engine is the same, MOT till next year, 2 lady owners i have had a test drive in it, its a nice drive, but it done 110,000 miles, the dealer want £1500, do you think i should walk away? -

Looking through my Accord's service book, Honda have left spaces for "intermediate oil change" every 4,500 miles. Is this necessary for a certain type of driving (i.e all motorway or all town driving), or is it a good idea irrespective of what the car is used for? Andy -

12) They also insist the car is safe to drive and suggest I take it away, as they don't know the problem. And, they advise Volvo UK that the car is safe to drive, as long as I keep my hands on the steering wheel. They suggest for any further work I drive it, 3 hours, to Wolverhampton. -

I am Lithuanian I have a full lithuanian (EU) drivers license, which I've passed in early 2014. In 2015 I've moved to UK, and made my biggest mistake in my life, drink&drive... Please don't judge me.. Okey, so the court gave me 12 months driving ban, it also said to do an extended driving test after the ban is over, they also ask me to surrender my drivers license which I did not...
