• 2021 Citroen Relay 2.2 - Citroen Relay 2.2 Cutting Out 27 Jan 2025 (Forum)
  Hi All,   I have a 2021 Citroen Relay which has started cutting out. The issue appears to have started when I ran out of fuel and had to top up with a jerry can. The van starts fine but when moving if any more than very slight pressure on the accelerator causes the van to cut out.

  I upgraded the bulbs to Philips GT200 but the car is still unsafe to drive because of poor visibility. I took it to Halfords and no problems on their machine. Took it to Citroen and again no problems found on their machine. I am going to get caught in the dark at some point and am dreading it. Throw is poor and pattern is jagged. Looked online and a few people have had similar problems but obviously not enough for a recall.

  Hi I'm hoping someone here may be able to help me or has come across this problem with one of these vans.   I have recently bought a 2011 relay from a citroen dealer, after buying it I organised a local security company to insttall an alarm for me as it didnt have one fitted, the alarm is an Autowatch 695,   When the installer was fitting it he couldnt get it to work and seemed to think there was something not right with the van's can bus, I returned the van to the dealer who said they checked the bsi for faults but only found something relating to a flat battery, The ecu was set to park mode so they changed it to customer mode and configered it for an alarm   after getting the van back the alarm installer tried to fit the alarm again but said it still won't work!!

  My wonderful lady friend has a beautiful Citroen with the correct suspension, which she dearly loves. Occasionally - once every 10-12 months, it suddenly loses about a litre or so of its coolant, the first time a dodgy clip was replaced on the expansion tank, the last time it was unexplained, then a faulty sensor was replaced, it but has been perfect for a year, but now its just happened again.

  Hi Everyone, Wonder if someone could throw some light on this one for me... The wife has a Citroen C1, which we've just purchased. The engine is wobbling and vibrates the whole car. This will happen as the revs are coming down but will do it when revved up but not as bad. So much so, if you have the door open, and rev it up, when the revs come back down, just before it hits idle, it will vibrate so much the door wobbles.

  Hi, My partner has just bought a 2002 Citroen C5 estate and we have an annoying niggle with both of the front windows - the 'auto mode' is far too sensitive, it kicks in (up or down)  just about as soon as you touch the switches so it's a right caper playing with the switch getting them to open part way!

  Hi Guys,   I have a Citroen Xsara (2000 model), recently on a couple of occasions the car felt like it was miss firing. This happened a couple of times, then driving to work one morning the engine management light came on, the rev counter dropped to zero as did the speedo and the indicator lights stopped working.

  Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me with a problem that I have trying to get on OEM cruise control for the Nemo Multispace. The handbook spends about 4 pages explaining how it works but I have been informed by Citroen UK that CC was never intended for the UK market, although it is available for some of our european cousins. I put it to Citroen UK that I would be happy to pay for a "European" unit to be sourced and then to be fitted by a Citroen dealer.

  Citroen examined the car again yesterday and could find nothing wrong. They think its down to the way the car is being driven and, in particular, the use of the clutch. But could this actually cause a large amount of smoke?

  I know that Cambelts are a pretty hot subject for most of us, due I guess to the massive costs involved when one breaks. I have a Citroen C5 2.0 HDI (110 BHP) that has currently done 34,000 miles. Citroen recommend replacing the belt at 100,000 miles and this is personally backed-up by the Chief Mechanic at my local Citroen agents.
