My partner has just bought a 2002 Citroen C5 estate and we have an annoying niggle with both of the front windows - the 'auto mode' is far too sensitive, it kicks in (up or down) just about as soon as you touch the switches so it's a right caper playing with the switch getting them to open part way!

I've got a 2005 Pug 206, and that gives you a second or two 'grace period' before auto mode kicks in. So is this just a 'feature' of the C5 windows or does it mean we've got a problem with the delay timer (assume there has to be one in the system)? And if so, where is the ****** thing!

Alternatively - let me guess... the delay is controlled by the BSI and it means it's knackered...!

Any assistance appreciated, before we burn the switches out ;-)
