  I am struggling with my Ford car radio RDS 4500 and need a code. The serial number is M277765.

  Good day   I have a 1.6 Ford focus mk 2. The battery was removed and I don't have the radio code nor the radio removal pins.   I read a few comments suggesting I try holding down 1 and 6 (this just comes up with a zero, as though I'm entering a digit) I also tried 1 and 5 as well as 2 and 5, but with 5 being the code confirmation key it accepts the attempts as code inputs.

  I believe that, currently, only Forum Member Elekie has an alternative method of generating Radio Codes. This isn't good news!

  Well i take my hat off to those who answer the seemingly endless requests for a radio code for their Ford Ka etc ! Dosen't anyone have it printed in the car manual or on a card in the booklet folder or in the radio manual ? Don't car buyers check the documentation for the code before buying ?

  Hi All, my daughter had the cam belt done recently and the radio code in her manual isn't working. Can only assume it's been changed and the manual not updated. Its an EON 4500 radio. Pressing 6 and 2 to reveal the SN gives M173202 The key code she has been trying is 6013 without sucess Before she uses any more of her attempts can anyone advise whether this is right code and if not what it is please?

  i hope someone can help i got my van back from the garage yeaterday come to turn on the radio and its asking me for a code if someone could help me i would greatly appreciate it i use the van to travel up and down the motorway daily and without the radio its unbearable i notices from other topics i need to aupply a serial number which is M004693 any help would be greatly appreciated

  I can't find anywhere where this plugs into. Maybe this is the reason  radio won't work or isn't used. Any ideas? Thanks. The radio is a standard Blaupunkt 2040 with CD player in boot.

  Hi, I've recently bought a 2006 / 06  Grand Cherokee 3 Litre Limited.   It has a radio with single CD (part number 5064067AE)  but I'm looking for the radio CD with the x6 CD changer that is built in to the head unit (part number 5064118AD).  Please can anyone advise me if it is a straight swap in / out or is there extra wiring / connectors etc needed.

  Here's a strange request, I once went to a house that had a car radio/cd player attached to the bottom of one of the units in the kitchen.....(tacky sounding i know but it did look pretty cool and worked very well)..not knowing the foggiest on wiring etc would anyone be able to let me know how they could have got this to work as 240 volts would obviously blow everything....and there are 2 "live/power" wires in a radio are there not?...

I bought the car from Auto Italia in Kingston two years ago and the radio code was never in the Fiat pack which contained everything else - warranty etc. The battery needed replacing some months ago and I'm at the stage where I can't stand my own singing any more.

  After a battery change the car requires a code to work, ive tried a generator recomended to me but it produces a code with an 8 in it and my radio only goes from 1-6. Serial No. M014897. Help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
