Peugeot 206 1.4l 51 plate - where does this wire go - mechtech

My daughters radio stopped working. I have checked both fuses and thet are ok. When I took it out of dash I noticed a thin white wire with a small black plug on the end, this wire came out of the bottom(black) plug on radio. I can't find anywhere where this plugs into. Maybe this is the reason radio won't work or isn't used. Any ideas? Thanks. The radio is a standard Blaupunkt 2040 with CD player in boot.

This wire is a spare and not used.Radio failure on early 206 models is very common and is usually an internal fault within the unit.hth

Thanks for that. I tried another radio and that didn't work either.
