Fuel prices 7 Apr 2007 (Forum)
Don't know what fuel prices are like around your area, but those at my local supermarket have gone up 7p/ltr (31.5p/gallon in old money) in the last seven days. Just doesn't seem to be any reason for it, apart from greed! -

Supermarket petrol, is it rubbish? [Read Only] 3 Jan 2010 (Forum)
I have heard a great many folk who stay far away from supermarket petrol because they believe it is nowhere near as good as Shell or BP, etc. What do you guys think? Would I get better MPG with non-supermarket fuel? I've had my car from new and 99% of the time it gets filled up at Sainsbury's or Morrisons. -

petrol - a difference? 3 Sep 2003 (Forum)
That car always ran brilliantly EXCEPT the one time I was in a hurry and filled it at a supermarket forecourt , when it didn\'t exactly misfire but didn\'t feel at all \'happy\' until it went back onto Esso. But during the many times we took it to France we always filled it with 98 or 95 supermarket unleaded (there\'s a big difference in fuel prices between garages and supermarkets over here) and it never missed a beat. -

Any - Fuel prices 30 Aug 2023 (Forum)
It’s being blamed in distribution issues caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, despite the fact that we haven’t imported any from Russia this year. Fuel consumption - super unleaded 27 Aug 2004 (Forum)
Morning, This may be a very stupid question but is there any difference in fuel consumption between super unleaded and regular unleaded? Petrol Stations 6 Jan 2008 (Forum)
Usually with one till open. If the petrol companies must make more millions from groceries, then have a seperate till for fuel payers only. As for the supermarket stations. They are usually next to a wacking great supermarket for heavens sake, do you really need to sell shopping in these petrol stations. All I can think of is that they are catering for the lazy elements of society, who wont walk the length of their own backside to do the decent thing. -
Any - Costco Fuel 29 Sep 2019 (Forum)
Not wanting to start another supermarket vs branded fuel debate, but I’ve just fuelled up at Costco for 123.7 per litre for their Premium Diesel. I’ve no idea if there is a legal definition of what is premium so far as fuel is concerned, but it’s still 4p per litre cheaper than my regular Tesco diesel.
