Review: Suzuki Katana (2019) (productReview)
The Suzuki Katana is a retro relaunch of one of the firm’s most notable classic machines. Aimed at the BMW R-nine-T, Honda CB1000R and Triumph Speed Triple, it’s a modern take on the 1980s muscle bike theme. It has similar front end styling to the original Katana, with its jutting chin and upswept rear, while the engine is also something of a nod to the past as it comes from the 1985 GSX-R1000 from the mid-2000s. -

Cheap car insurance for modern classics (Article)
Cars like the Nissan Bluebird which used to be everywhere but is now disappearing at a rate of knots. Or what about the E46 era of the BMW 3-series? These are 20 years old now, but (sporting variants aside) still very much regarded as a banger by the majority. What cars can you get on a modern classic policy? There are other anomalies, too. -

Review: Carluex Air wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto adaptor (productReview)
It works with most car makes and models with built-in wired CarPlay from 2016 onwards and is compatible with iPhones from 5 onwards and Android phones running 6.0 or higher. The one thing to note is that it doesn't work with BMW models, due to their software. If you have a BMW, Carluex sells a specific adaptor for £348. The unit itself is actually a very small Android device and can be used on its own without connecting to your phone. -
Review: Smart Polish Pro Waterless Wash and Wax (productReview)
The motorcycle wasn’t by any means filthy, but it had plenty of dead flies caked on in various spots and some dirt on the wheels and undertray from brake dust and road grime. Next we tried the cleaner on an elderly BMW 3 Series. All of the spots of dirt were lifted away by the spray and the microfibre cloth without much trouble. Even stubborn, baked on areas of dirt and dried up insects came clean with a bit of effort, though tar spots were too much for the spray to cope with. -

Traction control helps safe riding, while keyless ignition and a parking brake make your life simpler. It looks good value at £5999. Top 10: Used Motorcycles for £3000 (Article)
We’d reckon on finding one with less than 10,000 miles and in perfect condition for this price. BMW K1200RS We could point you in the direction of several big-engined hyper tourers for this sort of money, but the BMW K1200RS does it all better than most rivals. This is largely down to the depth of quality and finish it enjoyed from new, which makes it a superb used motorcycle and one that’s usually been meticulously cared for by enthusiastic previous owners. -
Review: Triumph Bonneville T100 (productReview)
It has a USB connection under the seat to charge your smartphone or sat-nav, and cruise control and heated grips are optional extras worth having if you ride all year round or want to go touring. Next to rivals from BMW, Ducati, Honda and Moto Guzzi, Triumph has nailed the modern classic motorcycle with the Bonneville T100. It’s such a good looker, with all of the wires and pipes hidden away to give a clean appearance, that many will mistake it for a 1960s bike. -
Review: Honda X-ADV (productReview)
The Honda X-ADV is pitched as an adventure scooter and you’ll need to be of an adventurous nature to consider this left-field choice. It’s an unusual mash-up of full-size go-anywhere BMW GS-style bike but with a feet-forward riding position. Other oddities about the design of the X-ADV are its DCT twin-clutch six-speed gearbox. This lets you ride the Honda without ever having to bother changing gear yourself or you can opt to take control with the up and down shifters on the left-hand bar. -
Review: Ohme Home Pro EV Charger (productReview)
We've used it with our own Audi e-tron as well as a slew of different EVs we have tested including everything from a Volvo EC40 and a Vauxhall Astra Electric to a Volkswagen ID.7 GTX and a BMW i5 M60. It's perfomed impeccably with all, which the app making things very simple to control. I initially wasn't sure if a five metre cable would be long enough given the various EVs I test, but it's surprisingly flexible cable and I've managed to hook it up to every EV that's been on the drive with no fuss. -
Review: Zontes T310 (productReview)
As you walk towards the Zontes T310, it gives every impression of being a classy, large adventure bike. Okay, it’s not quite as imposing as BMW GS or Ducati Multistrada, but it has all of the feel of a substantial bike and that is a big part of the appeal of this type of machine. There’s also a host of details to take in, such as the high-level exhaust pipes designed to keep heat away from pillion’s legs and luggage. -
