  Just curious if they were dangerous in a frontal impact as they have fuel tank at front? A mate of mine has just bought an early 70's one and my dad said they are death traps in a front impact, more so than other cars of teh era. Is this true?

  Good evening everyone just brought a band new Ford Focus zetec s year of the car is 2013 and I have had nothing but trouble with it first of all it was miss firing all the time so fords put on a new coil pack still no joy still did not solve the problem then they put in a new wireing loom still did not solve the problem now they say they have got to renew the pcm on the car what a joke this is has any one else had any trouble with there zetec s ????

  My 2002 hdi meridian is riding low on the rear and the o/s inner tyre almost touches the inner arch I'm running on 195 55 15's so nothing too unusual and there's reasonable clearence on the n/s. Kwik fit 'think' it's got and adjustable spline system? or an expensive repair.

  I have received a nice invitation to pay the £25 for \'failure to submit a SORN\', how can I get around this? the DVLA fine collecting agency in Glasgow is uncontactable by phone as it\'s always to busy. (9 attempts) I am the registered keeper, but the car has been at a garage for two months having repeatedly failed it\'s MOT and is awaiting parts, it can\'t be taxed as it\'s not got an MOT, but then it\'s not on the public highway either.

  Any mini cooper s/ cooper/one owners out there. 4 weeks old cooper s 1000 miles a very intermitant fault has developed (happened 6 times), when using remote to open car, sunroof tilts and windows drop about one quarter of an inch, can only be rectified manually, have spoken to service department, and it's a new fault for them.

  Drove through 4 toll booths arrived at destination ok. When I put key in to restart car N A T S appeared in the dash board LED Car will not start. Tryed second key but car seems to be disabled. How do I fix this problem.

  Hello Has anyone had problems with the handbrake mechanism on an S-type (1999). The handbrake unit has been binding on and the screw type mechanism seems to not be freely releasing or releasing enough to allow the discs to rotate without overheating. Did anyone find a good solution for this and is it a common problem?

  On this forum you've always been helpful and polite so will post it here.......I have a R56 Cooper S. Now the air con has never been that cold albeit perfectly acceptable to me. I've only had this car 16 months so it might need a regas anyway ?? However leaving that aside when activating the air con its make the engine note rise considerably.

  My Jaguar S Type has developed a misfire; it appeared shortly after replacing the Radiator although this may not be related. The misfire only appears after the engine is up to temperature all seems ok up to this point.

  Hi All, I am new here, so hello to everyone :-) I have been considering buying a 2002 FORD Mondeo 2.0TDCi 130 Zetec S. I was hoping all you good folks could give me some advice on what this car is like, things to look out for when buying, common problems etc. I will be looking at doing around 80 miles a day so i have singled out this car as its quite good on fuel but it also gives me the little sportyness that i love.

  It`s getting dark and you are in unfamiliar surroundings, the propshaft keeps jumping out. It wasn`t a problem when you set off this morning but now things are drifting a little - the sun goes down vertically and it`s dark within a few minutes.

  I need to replace the tyres soon, so I started checking out tyre reviews. I'd decided that I fancied trying FK452's on my 17's. I went to get a quote for tyres today and was quoted for ZE-912's. I asked about FK452's but was told that the ZE-912's had replaced them and that they were the better tyre. As far as I can tell from online resources both tires are currently sold and both for slightly different applications.
