Which Compact Family Estate? 23 Jun 2023 (Forum)
I know a used vehicle might throw some unexpected bills; however, I don't want to spend much money repairing the transmission or engine. The other option I have seen is another V50 2009, which has a 2.4 litre Volvo engine and probably a Volvo Automatic transmission. It is again a Japanese import, having almost the same km but three years older than the other V50. I assume the MPG figure will be much higher than the 2.0 Mazda engine. -
Most difficult bulbs to change. 18 Dec 2019 (Forum)
Which car has been the most awkward to change bulbs on? Rear bulbs on my Volvo V70 are a skin shredding contortionist job. Not needed one on my 2012 slk but needs a panel removing behind the front wheel to change a headlight bulb. -

Rear windscreen wipers 2 Dec 2003 (Forum)
This may have been answered before, but why on the more expensive cars (audi, volvo, mercs and bmw's for example), are there no rear screen wipers? It cannot be due to cost, and one would have thought that the higher end cars would include bit/gadgets from those below. -

Don't have and wouldn't buy a new car for this reason but do own a white Volvo which doesn't seem to show the damage or even dirt as much as any other colours - don't know why this is but have to say that the darker colours do look better when they're in good nick.. -

Time to change the freelander, so off out to the dealers today, short list, Hyundai Santa Fe, skoda kodiaq, Volvo XC60. Volvo dealer opened the car through the window from inside, it was raining, left us to look at it, went inside all too busy, receptionist not interested, walked out. Hyundai eventually got someone to open up a car, again from inside, it was raining, then left us, waited, ignored, receptionist busy chatting, gave up. -

Brands like Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz [RADSING1] and Volvo introducing cars in the entry-level segment that are pretty much closely priced as the flagship sedans of Honda, Hyundai, Skoda, Toyota and the like, is the latest market trend. One of the best examples of them all is Mercedes with its A and B-Class models. -
