  Its almost a "harmonic balance " thing - bit like when you can get pipe hammer in your house copper central heating pipes at certain water pressure/flows. She's not even aware of it (and I wont tell her) and I suppose it may disappear in time when a drive belt or something settles down but I would like to further my education if anybody has any ideas.

  i would have thought the first four were beneficial and the last three are because i want them - always said if i bought a car it would have heated seats and i want a sunroof again. Great on a summers evening. Blinds being the least important. i might have to revise my options list.

  The windscreen wipers on my 1993 Audi S2 have gone barmy - specifically the intermittent position. When I switch the wipers to intermittent I get anything from a single wipe to 20 wipes before it pauses. It will then do the same again, but with a different number of wipes.

  hi, van recently started playing up, was difficult to start it with key, it turns over no problem but fails to start up - almost like it has an immobilizer problem it will however bump start very easily, the turnover is nice and fast so i am sure it is not a battery problem, a friend has put a diagnostic on but the readings are a bit odd - it seemed to imply it had a POST-heat problem (not pre-heat)  any ideas?   cheers Russell
