Steam powered car! 18 Oct 2021 (Forum)
Steam powered cars have n't been used for say 200 years. There has been a lot of innovation since then. I wonder what 200 years year innovation could do to improve steam power? An alternative way to heat up, instead of coal? -
Vauxhall Corsa C - Mirror heater element- is something broken? 9 Feb 2017 (Forum)
Hi all, I recently had the cracked mirror glass on the driver's side replaced and have since noticed that the heating element on that side isn't working too well. When I turn the heated mirrors on, the passenger side clears up fairly quickly however on my side the glass barely clears up at all. To the touch the passenger side is hotter. -

I have a question - volume 26 26 Dec 2003 (Forum)
We live in a very hard water area and recently experienced restricted hot water flow which necessitated replacement of the heat exchanger for the second time(they only seem to last 2 yrs around here). The problem is that since the repair the boiler does not provide hot water unless it also happens to be on central heating mode. -

Ford Mondeo Estate - Fancy Mondeo- how much! 14 Dec 2015 (Forum)
I had to pinch myself and check I wasn't dreaming, but the price on the windscreen really was £35,600 I doubt there is much demand for an almost £40,000 auto diesel repmobile with 4x4 and a posh sounding name. -

Renault Kangoo - Double pre-heat 1 Jul 2004 (Forum)
On the first start of a cool morning, ignition on, preheat light comes on and goes off, start engine. The engine always starts first time. After about 2 seconds, the pre-heat light comes back on, and the engine loses all power. It keeps ticking over, but will not increase revs, even in neutral. The vehicle is in for its fourth repair attempt by Renault (as it is still under warranty - 51 reg). -

Dear All, Has anyone had any "bad experiences" after having an LPG conversion. I'm thinking of having my car "done" (Ford Escort). I've heard of the valve seat recession problem with Zetec engines, but, what about poorer running, over-heating etc. etc. Any views, opinions graetly appreciated, John
