  Hi All, When I turn my wipers on, they screech and eventually come to a stop in the middle of my windscreen (i.e. not at the bottom of my windscreen).   I'm asking this question on behalf on someone I know with a 2002 Ford Maverick (2 litre petrol). They had some electrical issues a little while ago, and then discovered that when the windscreen had recently been replaced it hadn't been sealed along the bottom and water had been getting in. Windscreen was replaced and the issues stopped but now it has a nother issue (may not be related of course) where the started motor kicks in whilst driving.

  Having a problem with my 2014 2.0 TDI BMT Passat. Just this morning a loud clicking noise has appeared when the heating or aircon is on. The noise appears to be coming from the drivers side, near the pedals. Online research suggests that this is a faulty blend door actuator / air recirc flap motor. Any video I have looked at on YouTube is for a LWD and doesn't fill a novice like me with confidence.

  Hiya, II have a 2001 elegance zafira deisel. It has heated seats which doesnt appear to be standard issue, but the drivers one doesnt work. I cant find how to fix this, and the Haynes manual doesnt mention it. Also the rear elec windows are dodgy! They will go down, and sometimes back up, but more often than  not stick!

  This is a general question about the air intake vent that runs across the top of the engine bay, just under the windscreen. My daughter's car has a slight smell inside the cabin. After driving with the blowers on for about half an hour, although I can't put my finger on the nature of the mild smell, I did start to taste something at the back of my throat.

  As much as I like the car, I have found that the windscreen seems very prone to misting up. The demisters seem a bit feeble compared to other cars even the previous model. I have to use the a/c quite a lot to clear the screen which I have not had to do before.

  I have a 1998 Rover 400 1.6 with a K16 Engine. The car works fine except for the heater. I find that even after the engine temperature gauge reaches working temperature, there is no heat available. The engine appears to warm up as quickly as ever but there is no hot air available for window demisting or to heat the inside of the car.
