  • Citroen C4 Grand Picasso - Driveshaft oil seal, do both? 7 Aug 2018 (Forum)
Automatic box, one of the driveshaft seals has most then likely gone, haven't had a good look just yet but getting ready too when it occurred to me, if I'm doing one what's the possibility the second will go?
  • Everybody watch out! Big Brother - Telematics and connected cars 8 Feb 2017 (Forum)
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/insurance/car/insurer-knows-text-drive-make-pay/ So when we all have a sim card in our car dash we will be followed/tracked and then charged for the privilege, and then get the speding fines or parking tickets automatically!
  • xc90 - best lights I've ever used. 11 Sep 2016 (Forum)
Lights follow where you are steering and when you get the headlights on its like daylight... I heard these cars dipped beams adjust automatically to avoid annoying oncoming cars but not sure.
  • SsangYong Tivoli - anyone own one ? 20 Mar 2016 (Forum)
I test drove the manual and apart from a few niggles was quite impressed with its road manners and cruising ability at 70mph. Does any readers own one ? Has it been trouble free ? What is the Automatic like ?
  • telephone boiler sales spiel 9 Mar 2016 (Forum)
The other day I listened to one of the cold calling messages about central heating boilers I usually delete automatically on the first sentence. He said that from the end of 2016 all homes MUST have an A rated boiler.  I do not believe this to be the case, but wondered if there is anything that could possibly be distorted to justify the claim.

I wish people would think about what they are writing in adverts to save wasting vendor and prospective buyer time.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/car-manufacturers/audi/8553170/Audi-takes-the-wraps-off-R8-GT-Spyder.html Details released of the Audi R8 GT Spyder.  Automatic as standard.  Why?!!!!  Does anyone else think that although very nice levels of kit and reasonable looks, it's actually kind of boring?
  • Isuzu Trooper (1987 to 1992) - 90 2.6 Overdrive problem 10 Nov 2009 (Forum)
My 2.6 Trooper (automatic) only changes into overdrive at high speed (70 and above) and randomly changes down again - v. annoying and v. bad for petrol consumption. It only has 20K(!) on the clock, by the way. Has anybody come across this before?

  • Mazda Mazda 2 (2007 - ) - will an auto or cvt be available?? 18 Mar 2008 (Forum)
Just wondering if anybody knows if the lovely little Mazda2 is likely to be made available with an automatic or CVT in the near future. Also, has anybody managed to persuade their local, friendly, Mazda dealer to let them have one for a 24 hour (or longer) test drive? Cheers.
  • Mercedes Bicycle 7 Mar 2006 (Forum)
They've just given their automatic geared bicycle, which was launched last year a revamp. It's now a full 4 kg lighter, along with an intelligent lighting system, which also incorporates a parking-light function, as well as the rear light flashing when the bike is being ridden slowly.

  • C4 3 Nov 2004 (Forum)
I have just checked the engine/transmission options for the C4 on the Citroen website and I am very disappointed to see there is no diesel automatic. These are now becoming more and more common in new cars these days and it is surprising for Citroen not to offer an auto transmission with the diesel engines in this car, as they are available with the C5 and Peugeot 407.
  • Galaxy tdi Auto 4 Oct 2004 (Forum)
After the pause its fine, but I wonder if that pause is normal or if its just mine. Not knowing much about diesel automatics or little 1.9 engines, I haven't the faintest idea myself.

  • Solid choices for (8->15 year old) small cars 7 Oct 2019 (Forum)
My wife needs a small car for her 60 mile a day (total) commute to work (she is petite, and not really comfortable driving  larger cars), she'd also prefer an automatic. Are there any 15 year old small petrol automatics (talking fiesta, 206 size - not supermini) that would be up to doing 60 miles a day for a couple of years?  Or would we be better off just spending more on a younger car?
  • Skoda Superb - Second Hand 31 Dec 2017 (Forum)
Or wouldn’t it put you off buying it? (If you’re an automatic person). Doesn’t have to be a superb but the Tino has a massive boot and my wife doesn’t like the look of estates. Anything else? Not really after another mpv. We only have one child, it’s just the drives away why we end up filling the boot.
