  need a interior mirror for my car. i need a complete kit including its bracket that it sits in. vw want just under £40 and so do eurocarparts.com. cant find any on GSF and ebay only has the mirrors. went to breakers and withhout smashing the windscreen, i cant get the bracket off.

  I drive a 88 Polo CL which for the nearly 5 years I've owned it has had a bit of a leak. I only realised when the carpets in the front footwells were saturated with water. I've been informed that something to do with the back windscreen but if this is the case how come its only the carpet in the front that gets wet? Not sure I want to spend money getting it fixed (unless I cover the car in bathroom sealant) but am curious as to what it could be.

  I've got a P-reg MK2 Ford Mondeo GLX TD. The rear heated screen has stopped working & so has the wash/wipe on the front screen. Would the rear screen heater relay have anything to do with this? Both stopped working at the same time. All other electrics working fine ?????

  My wiper wash stopped the other day and I guessed it was empty, so filled the resevoir with a strong mix and it seemed to have been empty. Now, no liquid appears at front or rear and resevoir remains full to the brim. Any ideas what I should be looking at ? Thanks

  My focus has started to develop an eggy smell when the blowers are on full, more when the hot it on, or when its directed at the windscreen. After a while the smell goes and you can run the heater and it usually doesnt come back, if you turn it onto heat/windscreen again it comes back for a bit. Im told theres only 1 cat and its in the manifold.

  Hi, 1992 (J reg) Ford Escort Ive got a problem with the air flow. everything seems to work fine - the fan blows, air comes out the front vents (into the car) and the lower (footwell) vents but not out the top (onto the windscreen) Well that not strictly true, if you fiddle with the knob that directs the airflow to the respective vents you can get some air onto the windscreen - as long as the knob is inbetween the top and bottom air vent settings.

  My Grand Voyager is having electrical problems meaning that the windscreen wipers and heating system does not work. This has been intermittent for several months, but not noticeable till the winter. Engine has been slow to start for last couple of winters, and now really bad.

  Seems like it is is coming from the windscreen. Whilst someone else is driving, I've tried the door shuts, but that creates a different noise then stops when I leave them alone, so not that! Not sure is someone knows if it is a windscreen seal or the front air inlet vents at the bottom of the screen.

  Is this a one off or does it apply to a batch of Meganes - I've just bought a 2000(W) Renault Megane 1.6 and have found that the washer on rear wipe does not work. When I switch on the rear wash it switches the front windscreen wash instead so I effectively have 2 switches to operate the front windscreen wash. A simple wiring problem I hear you cry! Nope, there is no jet nozzle in the rear wash plastic casing and if I pull back the roof lining I cannot see a rear wash pipe.

  Recently had my new vehicle front windscreen replaced and the weatherstrip was place back by using the black colour sealant to seal the windscreen. Need to glue back since the original clips-on on the strips need to be remove when replacing the windscreen.
