  Hi....can anyone tell me where the fuel pump relay is on the 95/6 micra please. My friend has already removed the pump without checking relay first and he says the pump works!The Nissan garage said its a blue relay behind center console but he cant find it.

  Read the previous forum re the above problem. Mine started today 7/6/10, on checking fuel system noticed that air is being sucked in through the filter bleed point, suggesting negative pressure. Any advice would be welcome, also where are the leak off pipes located?   Thanks Simon

  Hi, I'm interested in buying a Golf GTI, but the fuel guage doesn't work and needs replacing. It would irritate me if it didn't work.......I've had a quote of about £300 to replace it. Can that be right? Is it really that fiddly? Has anybody had any experience of this?

  Does any kind person out there know how to take the fuel pump out. I have got the inspection cover under back seats open and the pump is held down by a large ring nut. I have tried to move it with no sucess. Having to replace due to return connector leaking very badly.

  I want to check my Air/Fuel ratio on my kit car that I use for abit of fun, when using full throttle on a trackday. I've read as a cheap way to check this would be using a Lambda sensor and a voltmeter. There is no Lambda system on the car as its using Webers.

  any car..general question ive been sold some gates fuel hose that the parts shop insists is fine for inj use...although all the inj hose ive seen has the max psi/bar rating on the side its gates 3225 8mm hose 345-07 n 79426 ive tried to google for the specs but cant find nothing

  Diesel 2.0 CD Di 1998 S Reg - have received two more quotes for labour to replace fuel injection pump with control module but is dependent upon whether the timing belt runs the injection pump - does anyone know in relation to this spec Astra? Thanks

  i have a fault with my 806 petrol its a 2.0l .ive been told i have a fuel filter but i cant find it strange i know can anyone tell me were it is its the sl model 1997. and what type of filter it is as i keep losing power

  Hi, Do you guys know of any places around wolverhampton, who could refurbish my faulty fuel pump...........or even test it. Sigh!   Hi, would appreciate some help with my fuel gauge not working on zest 2 1998 model. Fuse ok, checked wiring block connector onto sender unit and its ok. Can you tell me how to test gauge and sender unit to check which one is faulty please. many thanks dave

  Thinking about purchase of a Nissan Terrano diesel 2.7TDI manual. Particularly interested in fuel consumption figures be it real world or govt figures. Also peoples experiences good or bad. Looking at circa 1998/9 with about 70 -80 K mileage. This falls into my price bracket of approx 4K. All thoughts welcome as always Mark W

  Can you self-calibrate the fuel computer on a ford S-Max. Mine is about 15% optomistic and I know that you could self-calibrate the FC in the Mondeo's by using the two dials/steering wheel controls. If it can be done on an S-MAx, how?

  Does anyone know where MSN cars get their fuel economy figures from? I ask as their figures for the Accord Tourer correspond exactly to what I (and many others) actually get, i.e. 41 mpg combined. This seems in contrast with the official figures, which suggest you'll get 48 combined and 57 on the motorway.

  I've just noticed this fuel has become available here on the Costa del Sol. The price is about 4.5 centimos (approx three pence) per litre more than standard Shell Diesel. Normal gasoleo A diesel is 0.94.6 Euros and this stuff is 0.99 Euros point something per litre.

  If left for an hour or so it usually starts. No running problems once started. Any Ideas?? Is there a stop solenoid in the fuel line i could check?? Cheers Tim

  I have had some new windows fitted recently,when the fitters had gone I discovered a bottle of Solvent Cleaner they had forgotton.On sniffing it(for identification purposes)there is a smell of pear drops,so am thinking it might be acetone,in which case I could try the acetone in fuel thing.Is there anyone in the trade who knows what this stuff is?The bottle is marked 'Eurocell building plastics','highly flammable','irritant'and 'dangerous to the environment'.

  I was driving to work today when my car died, there was a little fuel left but not much, i went to the local petrol station to get some more but the car would not start even with more fuel, the timing belt is intact, i cannot think of anything else to check, maybe the injectors are block due to it running on low fuel?

  Hi all Not so much a problem but a question. Had the polo for about 25k miles now, and reckon I need to change the fuel filter. The problem is - where do they put it on this car!!! There is no Haynes manual for this car as it is the Classic Saloon model, and i can't see it anywhere!! Any help will be very much appreciated.
