  When towing a caravan the fridge relay is intermittantly on and off. Is there a problem with the alternator output. Have heard that Honda automatically reduce the voltage under low load conditions. Is this correct and if so, is there a solution?

  I found a car I'm interested in buying, but I'm not certain it'd be wise. It's a 2006 Fiat Panda, 1.2 dualogic automatic with 9k miles. The low mileage worries me. Any advice on whether it'd probably be fine or not?

  New shoes fitted and bedded in and there seems to be no automatic or manual adjustment to the shoes .. the handbrake has excessive travel so does the handbrake act as the adjuster for the shoes as well? thanks

  Any else experiencing a problem with the automatic light on their ix35? The lights come on when its so dark that I think it would be unsafe not to have already switched them on! I've had them checked by the dealer but there seems to be no adjustment facility.

  i am looking to buy a hyundai coupe.i want a model with leather interior and automatic,but manuel not a problem.i have about £3000 to spend. Is this realistic? Also i would like advice on what to look out for mechanics wise? your views will help a lot.

  To quote HJ (Daily Telegraph, May 25th.) "The automatic is a CVT, but readers have had problems with this..." My own has covered 16,000 miles without problems. What is the experience of others? If there is likely to be trouble with the box, at what mileage should I get rid of the car?

  Manual steering locks normally attract little or no premium discount because they rely on you fitting it rather than an automatic electronic system. Obviously there could be circumstances where you don't fit it but still enjoy the discount and they would still have to pay out because manual steering locks are not a standard policy condition.

  The advice about "Green Cards" is wrong. Check your policy wording. Most UK policies give automatic free comprehensive cover within the EU for up to a specified time like 60 or 90 days per policy year. This will be different of course once we leave the EU.

    I 10 automatic 2009 68,000miles. turns over , but not starting, up to now the car has been faultless.Previous day I topped up a low battery cell, original battery, and started the car to moved it two foot uphill into garage.

  Recently fixed broken wires in drivers door so drivers door central locking on fob now works. For some reason, usually as I start driving the doors automatically lock on there own. Any ideas???

  At the moment I have a class 2 hgv  licence I am thinking of getting my psv my lgv is a manual licence, if I did take my psv test in a automatic would I get a psv manual licence?    Thanks in advance.

  I have a 2010 1.4 Automatic Corsa.  When I turn on the ignition, the oil light comes on for a few second and then goes out BEFORE I start the engine. Is this Correct? Dealer says it is. I am not so sure!
