Peugeot 106 (1991 - 2002) - 1998 1.5 diesel intermittent non start. 4 Feb 2008 (Forum)
I have a problem, my 1.5 diesel S reg, starts most times. But sometimes It just turns over but does not fire, like the fuel cut off soleniod is stuck. Been reading various links on this subject. I have found the relay in front of the alternator, not sure if this is where the prob is. or how to un-plug it to check the condition of the connection. -
Vauxhall Corsa C (2000 - 2006) - Part exchange price? 23 Jan 2008 (Forum)
What would I be looking at, roughly, for part exchange for this Corsa for a 51 plate Fiesta (2,995). Vauxhall Corsa, 2001, 3 door, 1.0L, 66k, s/h. Car runs well but there is some damage, nothing major i.e: alloys scuffed, rear plastic wheel arch missing, back of drivers wing mirror broken off. Inside is scraches on the steering wheel (one of her sold called mates done that wife a knife), scuffs on the corner of bumpers. -

Volkswagen Passat (2001 - 2005) - Erroneous advisories with MOTs? 4 Dec 2007 (Forum)
Four years ago, I was advised a CV joint gaiter needed replacing. Just had it done last week after a pre MOT check - no mention of that problem in the MOT?s in the intervening period. Last year I was told I?d slight wear on the front brake discs (which were only six months old at the time). No mention of that this time. Had several other ,often non existent, problems pointed out (low brake fluid-not). -

Holed windscreen 26 Aug 2007 (Forum)
As the damage was not serious, and was soon dealt with by RAC Windsreen service, i.e. epoxy was compressed into the hole, I was not too bothered. It occured to me though that the damage to my car,or even someone`s eye for example could have been much more serious. In this "worst case scenario" would I have been able to sue the person responsible? I realise now I should have stopped and given him a piece of my mind. -
Vauxhall Corsa C (2000 - 2006) - Network Q worth the extra ? 20 Aug 2007 (Forum)
Hi- 20 year old stepson is thinking of upgrading from worn out S-reg 1.0 Corsa to an neat looking '03 silver 1.2 SXi (16v, alloys, a/c) with 48000 for 4.5k. He's driven it, likes it (especially in comparison to 1.0) and the insurance isn't horrendous, so is quite keen. -
'Big Wheels' not liked by insurers? 1 Aug 2007 (Forum)
A guy drove from his driveway into the road as wife was passing and fortunately his car bumper only impacted with her rear n/s tyre hence no damage whatsoever. Makes a mockery of her having to change her insurers when they declined to insure her re purported 'additional risks' probably associated with potential theft albeit without them there would have been a sizeable claim. -
