  When I lock my car (FIESTA 1.25 Style) the radio and mileage display stay lit for 2-3 minutes. Is this normal. Can it be altered? Thanks

  I have a J reg vauxhall nova, but there is something missing on the front of the radio/cassette (either a detachable screen or buttons?) Does anyone know where to get these, or if they even exist anymore. Thanks

  We had the battery disconnected for a few months while away, when we reconnected the radio asked for code. There were some wrong attempts, but it didn’t get as far as saying ‘locked’. We now have the code but the radio doesn’t ask for it, I guess it might be permenanyly locked out but it doesn’t say ‘locked’, you can still use the screen, navigate, but radio/cd doesn’t function.

  Last week was the first time I had the radio on with the engine switched off and noticed after approx 5 minutes the radio switched itself off with the message “going into economy mode” on the touchscreen. Could you please advise if the radio is supposed to switch off after a few minutes with the engine off to conserve the battery charge.

  He suggested fitting a DAB radio as that would definitely cure the problem as it uses a completely separate aerial. But it made no difference. He had worked on the car now for about 2.5 hours in total. He re-fitted the original radio and all at no cost whatsoever.

  Hi, is there anybody out there who knows how to correctly remove the radio from a 2006 56 reg Ford Focus Hatch? I have had fair experience of fitting radios, cd changers, hands free kits etc over the years and i would like to install a bluetooth kit to my car. I have accumulated various radio removal keys including Ford ones but none fit these new style radios.

  I recently purchased a 2006 Ford KA. Lights on the dash were out so we checked the fuses but in doing so, this re set the radio. It is now locked and won't work without a code. I have looked everywhere around the car and in the manual and cannot find it. I have the serial number, which is M039398.... Where can I gain the code for this radio?

  I've removed the radio from my Mondeo.  I did this quite some time ago.  I tried to start it yesterday and it wouldn't start.  Knowing how "clever" todays cars can be it crossed my mind whether removing the radio would prevent my car from starting, or is it just pure coincidence and likely to be something else completely?

  Battery replaced.  Radio calling for code.  4 digit code (3195) entered using key 1 x 3, key 2 x 1, Key 3 x 9 etc, 3195 displayed, pressed * button...nothing happened...what am I doing wrong.  The instructions I followed came from the handbook as did the radio code.

  My car is fitted with a Siemens CDR 2005 radio unit, unfortunately I have lost the radio handbook and cannot remember the sequence to re-programe it, I have the code and know how to enter it but cannot remember what buttons to press initially to start the sequence off to get to the code bit Can anyone help Many thanks.
